Anyone know of a readily available hdd to hdd copy utility?

Does knoppix have one? Is there anything maybe on sourceforge?

I need to replicate a partially OS-installed hard drive about a dozen times and would naturally rather just replicate or copy the drive 12 times rather than go through 12 installs.

I've used Norton successfully, but don't care for it much and don't have it handy either.

I think the dd command will do what you want very nicely.
Somewhere around here, perhaps in tutorials, there is an awesome thread posted by user 'Awesome Machine' on everything about dd. Try searching LQ for either dd or user posts by Awesome Machine.
