Alternative to fig2dev for Latex Picture?

Hi,

I am looking for a possible way to convert a FIG document generated with xfig. I would like to use it with Latex with Picture environment.

Would you know a possible alternative to fig2dev?

Thank you

Goodness, it must be 15 years since I used xfig.

Back then there was some dodge or wheeze to get a picture out of it. I think there was some funny picture type icon on the side for a jpg. I would at least check for a file/export. If you have inkscape, try File/import, or if google has nothing to say and you hang some .fig file up on the ether, I'll try to import it in inkscape for you. It does a lot of weirdo vector formats. They casn be an absolute pita to transmogrify, but they zoom & shrink beautifully, which is more than be said for bitmaps.
As a last resort, there's screen capture things, or print & photograph. Perhaps even print to file would do it, but watch in case the resolution gets zapped. You could always get into the options and set the paper size to A0; That might do it :-)).
