about apache server

i have just installed the apache + php + mysql in fedora 2....

but while i want to start the apache server at the first time....

/usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl start
such error occurs.....

module php4_module is already loaded, skipping(13)Permission denied: make_sock: could not bind to address [::]:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs

can anyone tell me what's wrong with my server?

Thanks

Apache needs root permissions to bind a low socket like 80 - are you running the apachectl command as root? If so, does 'netstat -anp | grep LISTEN' show any other process listening on port 80?

You probably have apache already running on port 80.
Use command:
netstat -tlpn |grep 80
to see if I am right. Then stop it and start your new apache.
