Exclamation a note on KDE 3.4 + transparancy

if you have edited Xorg config to be able to enable transparancies,it stops the glx module from loading.
games and applications that require glx return an error on launch or simply screensavers, celestia, and blender require the glx module.i have also noticed the official yahoo client just quitting without notice.
simply commenting out the new lines from Xorg config allows the module to load on the next login.
the testing was done on suse 9.2 and slackware-current.

Another solution is to do this:

Section "Extensions"
  Option "Composite" "Enable"
  Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "True"
This lets you have both GLX and transparency. It's a little bit flaky (I noticed weird GUI refresh problems while using it) but might be worth trying if you want to use both.
