Transparancy in Konsole background??

OK, I was just on kdelook.org and noticed that many of the screenshots showed a Konsole window with a transparent or translucent background. I was just wondering...

How did they do that??

And can I do that???

Anyway, does anyone know how to enable that in the konsole window??

I tried to get this feature to work under Waimea. As it didn't behave properly, I switched to gnome-terminal, which works fine with a small time delay...

In my Konsole there is a menubar. on the menubar are the following menu's:

Session - Edit - View - Bookmarks - Settings - Help

click on Settings and then choose Schema and you can make your Konsole transparent without running anything like WM or stuff.
It is a feature of the Konsole itself. I can choose to use white on black, black on white, marble, paper or VT100 colors.. transparent dark background, transparent light background, to name but a few.
I am running KDE 3.1 on redhat linux 9. I don't know how it is done with other types of linux shells/consoles..
