Yes, that will eliminate the QM modules errors and probably load any modules that need to be loaded, that is why his shit wasnt working.

in reply to alex (thanks!), i got it working by installing the package you told me about, then i recomplied. also, i just recompiled, and ive got the regular cdrom drive and the internet working, so im talking to you from kernel 2.6.5-goddard! the only thing preventing me from getting rid of that old lilo


Damn, dude who is alex?

Get some more sleep before trying to compile any more kernels. lol
