Kernel Errors 2.4.26

Hello people,

I have trouble with compiling the 2.4.26 kernel. Here are the errors:
Code:

make[1]: *** [first_rule] Error 2

Any suggestions ?

Thanks

You are using Slackware and trying to compile an gentoo patched kernel ok it's worth a try. But I would suggest to take the latest kernel from kernel.org.
Also You seem to have SMP(Symetric Multi Prozessor support) compiled in. I agree with you I always wanted to use this Kernel Option, but Linux just isn't
nice enough to build another Prozessor from Junk lying around my computer so I'm stuck with my UniProcessor Machine, and you should do that do .

Only apply this option if you have at least to Processors
