Windows 2k8 NFS file system mount in CentOS fstab issue.
Please find my details.

NFS files shared on Windows 2k8 R2 .
client is CentOS 6.4 Linux.
================================fstab entry=======
10.7.1.140:nfsshare /nfs nfs rsise=8192,wsise=8192,timeo=14,intr 0 0
====================================================error getting====
[root@ganesh /]# mount /nfs/
mount.nfs: an incorrect mount option was specified
Add below entry at fstab now it is working after reboot.
==============================================================================
10.7.1.140:nfsshare /nfs nfs4 rsize=8192,wsize=8192,timeo=14,intr 0 0
==============================================================================
I had a quick look at the nfs man page and it seems that the intr option is deprecated after kernel version 2.6.25. If you are using a newer kernel you should try removing that option.
Give your details of both server and share error also.
Thanks...
Actually I have a mail server running on RHEL5. I am trying to take backup of the mail folder from this server on aanother server running on windows 2008 server. For this, I shared a folder on windows server and mounted it on RHEL mail server as cifs filesystem. All works fine till here. Now when I try to cppy files from linux to mounted windows share, the files are copied except the symbolic links. It gives "Symbolic links not suppprted" message.
Now is it possible to mount windows share in linux using NFS as you mentioned herein. Can this symbolic link error be solved in any way?
Thanks...
