Mount NTFS partition deeper in file system with fstab?
I'm dual booting with Windows 7 and would like to have my windows 7 user folder mount when I boot.
After some looking around I edited /etc/fstab to add the following line:
UUID=##### /mnt/windows ntfs-3g auto,users,uid=1000,gid=1000,dmask=027,fmask=137,utf8 0 0
This works. But it mounts the windows partition from the root level. I'd like to just mount C:\Users\FHSM (/Users/FSHM) to /mnt/windows.
I'm trying to get it so that when I click on the windows drive I get my windows user folder instead of having to click through from C:\ to get to it.
How can I do this?
As a side note I'm the only user on this system but if I created a second windows user would my home folder mount for that person too or does setting the user ID prevent that from happening?
