Where to get iptables-persistent?

I am working on a debian 8 vps and I tried to install iptables-persistent but I am left with a message "unable to locate package"

I imagine the next step is to download it from somewhere but where?

I have determined that my ip-tables is set as loadable kernel modules as opposed to the other type.

So what do I do in order to save my iptables rules for reboot?

I give you credit for taking initiative.

Those guys don't mess around.

Get one here.
Install it using instructions in https://debian-handbook.info/browse/jessie/

I guess everything is working... jesus I feel really dumb you know?
There is so much to grasp and my head is spinning.
Apparently it switched to netfilter-persistent so after doing that, it saved.
