tgtd performance tuning

Hello everyone,

I have a server configured with iSCSI (tgtd) with 6x3TB RAID 5 and its used as a datastore for my VMWare setup I have. The server has 2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 0 @ 2.00GHz and 64GB of RAM

Does anyone have a performance tuning suggestions for this setup?

The question isn't something that can be answered without a lot more information.
What are the VMs going to be doing?
Database?
Application?
Middleware?
Will they be making a large number of small writes/relatively few large reads, visa versa, large numbers of asynchronous writes with a relatively small number of direct IO reads...
With all that in mind, I'd take the defaults and post back if you have a particular issue.
