One of my Team has recently setup squid server.I want to test its performance and know details about its load and performance. Please do recommend a tool for knowing the same?
Check for the system perf using any of the service monitoring apps like nagios/zenoss/mrtg etc and then gather and review statistics with SARG. Is your squid doing Caching as well? if so, then you can also make use og the Cachemgr.cgi to generate canche perf and usage stats.
