i am not able to configure sendmail server in rhel 6 ,it shows the error "LOGIN FAILED" .

i am using these commands :
1.vim /etc/mail/sendmail.mc{uncomment line 116 and 149}
2.m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/mail/sendmail.cf
3.configure the dovecot file(uncomment the pop and imap)
4.connect:192.168.137.1 allow (in /etc/mail/access) file
5.service sendmai restart
6.service dovecot restart

i use:
#mutt -f pop:asmita@192.168.137.1
it shows me the certificate,and prompt for the password for user asmita,but when i enter the password it shows "SASL" auth failed,"APOP" auth failed .......
