Hi Friends..

iam encountering a problem with squirrelmail in Fedora15. Whenever i try to login to it with any root/regular user account, it says "ERROR: CONNECTION DROPPED BY THE IMAP SERVER" without giving any reasons. The very same problem is with my CENTOS6 Distribution. squirrelmail config seems to have no problems & postfix,dovecot are in running state, selinux/firewall disabled.

SSL self-signed Certificate & Key are created and working fine with apache httpd. I did every thing to solve this issue but failed at last.

Please help..

generally imap connection is related to service but u say its running...
did your mysql service is running....

I haven't install MySQL yet but i don't know how it can fix the problem because squirrel mail is running fine with Fedora13 and RHEL5 without any login or imap errors. I also used Cyrus imap instead of dovecot but problem is the same. Rouncubemail uses either MySQL,PostgresSQL or SQLITE, and bit harder to setup than squirrel mail.

I'll request you to install Squirrel mail either in CENTOS6 or FEDORA 15/16/17 to see actually what is happening. if it is related to imap server support, then what else imap server should i use?
