Server data migration

Greetings, mates!
I'm currently hosting a web server with Debian Sarge. It is working perfectly on its state. I'm planning to replace it with a slightly smaller PowerPC machine which I assume that it can handle all tasks from current machine. Is that possible to migrate everything from current server to the new machine? I would like to keep the tweaks and cron jobs which I think it is good.

Some little hints will be appreciated. Thanks!

Assuming you are installing all of the same applications and the OS itself is going to be identical, you should just be able to copy all of /etc and move that over to the new machine.

In practice though, it would be safer to just pick and chose which files you really want duplicated to prevent any possible headaches.
