Server access

Hi,

I am using Sloaris OS.Below are few of my quires:

1.Is there any way to check who (which users)can access a particular server?

2.Weather a user has access to a server or not??

3.We have a cluster of two servers: Server A and Server B. I am able to see user info in Server B's /etc/passwd but in Server A it gives me "No such user message". Now, the question is how to give access to a user so that he can login to the cluster?

Depends entirely on how your users authenticate. If they're using LDAP, NIS, or local file authentication, how you 'check' will be different.

Again, this will be dependent on how the users authenticate.

Right...a CLUSTER is multiple machines acting as one. You don't say how this cluster is set up, but if you're checking /etc/passwd, it would appear to be using local files. So, if you want a user set up on servera, then just set up a user as you would normally. You don't say what version of Solaris, so the methods for doing this may be different...Solaris10 is different from previous versions.
