[SOLVED] sendmail for LAN in ubuntu 9.10 server

Hi,

i am using ubuntu 9.10 server. i just want to configure simple sendmail service for my LAN which consists for 8-12 pcs. so can any one provide me a link or any suggestions. which will be helpful for me in configuring sendmail, as i am trying this for the first time in ubuntu.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your reply. But the link you have provided is for redhat and fedora distributions,but mine is ubuntu.I googled for it but i didn't get any appropriate solutions, May be some one who have configured send mail in ubuntu 9.10 may have some solution for my problem.Thats why i posted it here.

Any link which provides sendmail configuration in ubuntu would be very helpful.

No, the link I provided you was to GOOGLE. Look up one of the many how-tos on there for yourself. There were over 1 million hits on that Google search, did you bother looking at any of them, or just the top one? Add "ubuntu" in it...you'll see more.

Try looking things up for yourself.

Can you tell me how you did this dinakumar12. I don't see any information in this post aside from that idiot TBOne who thinks that every solution can be solved for a google search. (Really? 10.00 + sendmail + ubuntu + ssl setup is on google, I guess I must have missed it with my 2 hours of searching.)
