samba PDC - issue with IE


hiya

my PDC limited users using IE 6.0 cannot download any file from any website visited in IE, here is an screen shot hen i was downloading firefox and im getting the same error for all downloads, any idea's why is it happening?

Also when im clicking download it is not even asking whether i should "save" or "open" the file i want to download, it is directly downloading the save in temp as i see. i dont have any policy implemented it is using the default Winxp policy for limited users. lastly i tried to download with admin rights and yes i can download anything using the admin rights.

Since you are accessing an ftp site, try downloading it using the file browser. Get the ftp location from the link. It is probably the part after the question mark, but your graphic covers up the link address. If that doesn't work, use the ftp client in the console.

Since the error message talks about accessing the site, and not saving the file, this isn't a samba problem.

the same is the case even if im downloading anything from a http site, what do u think why this would happen and even if it was site problem then why would it download the same content when im logged in as admin (not local system admin but a samba admin user)
