Help: Samba as PDC Issue - logging on with new user

I have installed Samba (v.3.0.10) and I have been running it for a while as a PDC. I tried to add a user recently by creating the unix user and then adding it to samba using "smbpasswd -a <user>". I am getting a "System cannot log you on becasue domain <DOMAIN> is not available" error.

I can connect to his home drive from a non-domain computer, but I just can't logon from one of the two computers that are part of the domain.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
