root alias

Hi,
I would like to receive mail for "root" user on every system to an external mailbox, for example: admin@mydomain.com
If I set

Code:
root: admin@mydomain.com
I am able to receive messages, but they have "root@machinehost.domain" or so as recipient.

Is it possible to send system mail directly to admin@mydomain?
I use Postfix / Exim on all my server.
Thank you
