Restart the FTP sessions that are stopped while transferring the files

I want a script or tool which can help me to restart the FTP connection which has been stopped abruptly with any user intervention which can download the file from where it was stopped or re-download the file again.

Hmm... have you taken a look at prozilla?

It will only work for downloads, but if I remember right it can do this - auto-retries.

Simply google for prozilla
