well if that's what "they" chose, then "they" will have full formal documentation and a commercial support agreement. Other than being able to tell you that their site says it's possible, what else are we expected to say? Chapter and verse on how to do it from start to finish?
no, ofcourse not but I was wondering if someone could post their altiris job for RHEL so I can see what I forgot.
In short, it works up to a certain point where it keeps rebooting without actually installing the os.
Probably in the kickstart file. (I used an edited version of my previously working kickstart and also a modified version of the supplied kickstart.)
Anyway, I'll try to find my way through the official supportchannel from hp.

ps: the stupidity of it all is that I am familiar with pxe + kickstart installs but it seems that I'm to stupid to find out how to fix it with this altiris rdp thingy.
I could also go for an alternative approach and just use the kickstart services from altiris and pretend that it's just another pxe-boot but chef would not approve. :-)
