[SOLVED] postfix and dovecot auth backend

I'd like to set up a mail server using postfix just for learning porpuses. Ideally I'd like to use sasl auth + TLS + virtual users and may be dovecot as imap/pop server.
My question is: can postfix+sasl and dovecot share any backend for authentication? I'd prefer not to use mysql, so if both softwares could share authentication backend would be just great.
If that's possible could anybody please pass me some tutorial or guide?

Yeah, postfix can use dovecot for SMTP auth'ing, and dovecot can use pretty much whatever you want.
