Hi all.
Firstly - sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum!
Secondly - I've searched to no avail.
Thirdly - I'll give what information I can but please do ask for more if I should provide it!
Ok - on with it.
I am currently running a LAMP stack with ubuntu0.16.04.1
I've had some issues with OwnCloud on it, but I don't think they are OwnCloud specific. Basically, I am being shown an OwnCloud error message saying "PHP module zip not installed". To check this I created a phpinfo page and check, and low and behold zip is indeed not installed.
"Easily solved" I think, so I go to terminal and go with
Code:
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install php7.0-zip
Which leads to this:
Code:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package php7.0-zip is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'php7.0-zip' has no installation candidate
I've been through a few things here - checked the packages, and recreated my sources.list but to no avail.
Is anyone able to troubleshoot from that little information, or at least suggest what I Google next?!
As I type this I realise it may not be a Linux issue... so again, if I'm off the game I am sorry, please be gentle!
Happy days.
Andy
