Passwd File Recover Error


Hiii Everyone,

My /etc/passwd file was deleted and while recovering in kernel /bin/bash.
At bash can not create the regular file '/etc/passwd' : it's Read only file system message.


please help me.

Are you sure you deleted it?

What is the output of:

cat /etc/passwd
What distribution are you running?

Although /etc/passwd can, by default, be read by any user, it can be changed only by the root user.
