Organizing named.conf

Is there a way I can better organize my named.conf file? I've got more than 50 domains and the file is getting really big. Is it possible to have a dir like /etc/named.d/ where I can add new zones as separate files the way I do with /etc/httpd/conf.d/ ?

Use the "include" directive. It doesn't let me include a pattern (e.g. /etc/bind/include.d/*.conf) and I don't think it will include a directory. I think that's probably your only real option for trying to organize the config files better. You may have to look at something that uses say an LDAP or SQL backend for storing zones configs and zone records.
