nfs_statfs: statfs error = 116

I have several rhel 3 servers that I'm sharing several file systems between. On one of them I am having trouble getting one of the filesystems to mount using either fstab or mount -a. In the var/log/messages file I get the above error every time is issue a mount -a command. However if i manually mount the nfs share it works fine. It also automatically (via fstab or mount -a) mounts on 2 other servers.

have any of you seen this and do you know what causes it and what the fix is?

That would be helpful if it didn't work at all but it works for 2 servers but not a third with no configuration changes. the only change I had to make was a fiber card failed that was connected to my san so the server had to be rebooted. Only 1 of the clients had the problem reconnecting.
