Hi,
I have the following configuration:
Machine1: Server (Redhat EL 4) | ip:192.168.0.254
Machine2: Client1 (RedHat based linux) | eth0 ip:192.168.0.6 | eth1 ip:10.90.90.6
Machine3: Client2 (Redhat based linux) | eth0 ip:192.168.0.9 | eth1 ip:192.168.0.9
The Cslients starts with PXE/NFS boot without a problem. However, I want both the clients to start a nfs daemon as well so they can mount a directory on each others system.
/etc/exports is set on both clients as:
/uśr/local/remote *(rw,root_squash,sync)
On the clients, when I start the nfs I get:
Code:
/etc/init.d/nfs start
Starting NFS services: [ OK ]
Starting NFS daemon: [FAILED]
Starting NFS mountd: [ OK ]
And naturally I get permission denied when I try to mount the remote directory.
Where can I trace the problem? Any clue how to solve this?
thanks,
Indy
