New kernel (2.6.15) won't recognize raid array on Ubuntu dapper
I recently installed linux 2.6.15 onto my Ubuntu server. It had previously been using 2.6.10. It seems to work fine except that when it boots into 2.6.15, it doesn't recognize one of my two raid arrays. It mounts /dev/md1 fine, but tells me that /dev/md0 has a bad superblock. Both are ReiserFS file systems.
However when I go back and boot into the previous kernel, 2.6.10, it mounts both without a problem, so I know that the filesystem is not corrupted.
Thanks in advance for any help.
EDIT:
It turns out that in the new kernel, the array at /dev/md0 is called /dev/md1 and the array at /dev/md1 is now at /dev/md2. This is confusing to me, but it appears to be working fine. If anybody has any input as to why this might be, or if this is in fact a bad thing, please let me know. Thank you
