Nagios E-mail Notification setting

Hi All Experts,

I have setup Nagios Server in ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I am able to monitor the system. Now i want to send e-mail notification. During installation screens of Nagios, E-mail Notification screen is confusing. Is it possible for me to send e-mail of nagios events notification from other external e-mail server e.g. gmail or yahoo.

Any URL for this setup is highly appreciated.

Edit: see /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/contacts.cfg
or relevant path... Sorry, I retired my Icinga install in favor of zabbix.
