MySQL/PHP error

Hey guys i am using Fedora 9 and I am installing a LAMP server. I yum install msq-server php-msql and mysql-* and then i downloaded the gz of php. When i do ./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs --with-mysql=/usr/include/mysql --with-mysqli --with-gd --with-zlib-dir=/usr/include/ --with-png-dir=/usr/local/lib/ --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/lib/ --with-gdbm --with-gettext --with-ttf --enable-gd-native-ttf --with-freetype-dir=/usr/lib
it goes through and it looks like its installing fine then it posts

configure: error: Cannot find libmysqlclient under /usr.
Note that the MySQL client library is not bundled anymore!

I think its just a linking problem but i am not sure how to fix
Any thoughts???

Thanks
John

Yes, the mysql-client libraries aren't installed, or the mysqlclient isn't installed. Install them, and things should proceed.

As I said...the MySQL client and the mysql development libraries. From a brief Google search:

http://optics.csufresno.edu/~kriehn/...les/f9/f9.html

That should help you. PHP is available through YUM as well, with MySQL enabled already.....
