multipath problem

hi everyone

i have a redhat 5.3 server with multipath. my server connected to two storage (3par and EVA). unfortunately 3par doesnt support user_friendly_name=yes parameter. i want to see my EVA path with user friendly name . is there any solution to add user friendly name to EVA path only (not in 3par path)?
now add user_friendly_name yes parameter in default section.thanks in advance

You have to upgrade your RH5.3 at least to 5.9, there was a lot of bugs about LVM and multipath fixed between these releases.
