[SOLVED] Mandriva as a server

I'm about to setting up a server, i'm a little confuse... i used to operate mandriva, is mandriva 2006 good enough to handle a server (web, mail, proxy, in 1 machine).? i was thinking about using mandriva 2006 64bit version, because my server machine is amd athlon 64 X2. If it is good enough to handle it, i wonder what kind of antivirus & firewall that i could use together with mandriva 2006 as protection. I need a firewall & antivirus that working properly, reliable & easy to configure / handle

any suggestions.???

Mandriva is a general OS, which means that it works pretty well as a desktop or server distro. It has a built in firewall, so thats already taken care off and configuration of the firewall is done through the Mandriva Control Center. As for antivirus, you don't need it unless you are sharing files or email with Windows machines. There are several threads that deal with anti virus on Linux, so a search may help you.
