lighttpd cache

Hello, I have enabled mod_expire on lighttpd but the server sends always

Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT

instead of the current added with my settings, is it normal ?

this is mod_expire.conf

Code:
##  Expire Module
## ---------------
##
## See http://www.lighttpd.net/documentation/expire.html
##
server.modules += ( "mod_expire" )
$HTTP["url"] =~ "\.(jpg|gif|png|ico)$" {
     expire.url = ( "" => "access 2 days" )
}

etag.use-inode = "enable"
etag.use-mtime = "enable"
etag.use-size = "enable"
static-file.etags = "enable"
Thanks
