Hi,

we are using SOLARIS BOX as LDAP Central point of user authentication over the network.
Once the user is created in LDAP server, user can be able to loginto to other servers using same user credentials.

But the same user is facing the problem in logging into some other servers though those servers also are in LDAP.

What i mean to say is, user is able to login into some servers and some servers not.

What could be the reason for this ?

Why the user is able to login in to only some servers using same LDAP user credentials ?

What to check for this error ?

we have zero chance guessing what this issue is with so little information. You've not even said what the client systems are running. please provide configs from the relevant systems to compare and contrast, e.g. /etc/ldap.conf, /etc/nslcd.conf, /etc/nsswitch.conf, and check your server side logs for the authentication attempts
