Smile issues with installation of webmin for awstats (not getting log data)

Hi Folks

I'm relatively new to server admin, i have a java app on our virtual server and wanted to instal awstats.

I followed this tutorial www.sakuiweb.com/articles/how_to_install_awstats/ and didnt really realize that I may not have needed webmin, but I folowed it and now I have webmin installed and running fine.

But I cant get awstats to read the data from the log files. I'm not even sure where the log files are.

this is my cron job script.
Code:
/usr/local/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -update -config=fac.concreteexchange.com
this is the virtual host code I added to /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

Code:
<VirtualHost fac.concreteexchange.com:80>
ServerName fac.concreteexchange.com
DocumentRoot /vhosts/fac.concreteexchange.com/webapp
ErrorLog var/www/vhosts/fac.concreteexchange.com/statistics/logs/error_log
CustomLog var/www/vhosts/fac.concreteexchange.com/statistics/logs/access_log combined
</VirtualHost>
my directory structure looks like

var/www/vhosts/mysite/webapp

all my sites files are inside webapp and tomcat is pointed to towards webapp in

/opt/tomcat/conf/server.xml

if I have a vhost folder with several sites inside do i still only have on error log folder?

i think my log files are in
/var/www/vhosts/fac.concreteexchange.com/statistics/logs/access_log

When I Execute Cron Job I get this out put
Code:
Output from command /usr/local/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -update -config=fac.concreteexchange.com ..

Create/Update database for config "/etc/awstats/awstats.fac.concreteexchange.com.conf" by AWStats version 6.95 (build 1.943)
From data in log file "/var/www/vhosts/fac.concreteexchange.com/statistics/logs/access_log"...
Phase 1 : First bypass old records, searching new record...
Direct access to last remembered record is out of file.
So searching it from beginning of log file...
Phase 2 : Now process new records (Flush history on disk after 20000 hosts)...
Jumped lines in file: 0
Parsed lines in file: 4696
 Found 0 dropped records,
 Found 0 corrupted records,
 Found 4597 old records,
 Found 99 new qualified records.
But my awstats does not reflect the new records in the above output.

Im not really sure what I did wrong and if anyone has any tips to steer me in the right direction i would really appreciate it.

thanks in advance.
