Smile issues with installation of webmin for awstats (not getting log data)

Hi Folks

I'm relatively new to server admin, i have a java app on our virtual server and wanted to instal awstats.

I followed this tutorial and didnt really realize that I may not have needed webmin, but I folowed it and now I have webmin installed and running fine.

But I cant get awstats to read the data from the log files. I'm not even sure where the log files are.

this is my cron job script.
/usr/local/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/ -update
this is the virtual host code I added to /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

DocumentRoot /vhosts/
ErrorLog var/www/vhosts/
CustomLog var/www/vhosts/ combined
my directory structure looks like

all my sites files are inside webapp and tomcat is pointed to towards webapp in

if I have a vhost folder with several sites inside do i still only have on error log folder?

i think my log files are in

When I Execute Cron Job I get this out put
Output from command /usr/local/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/ -update ..

Create/Update database for config "/etc/awstats/" by AWStats version 6.95 (build 1.943)
From data in log file "/var/www/vhosts/"...
Phase 1 : First bypass old records, searching new record...
Direct access to last remembered record is out of file.
So searching it from beginning of log file...
Phase 2 : Now process new records (Flush history on disk after 20000 hosts)...
Jumped lines in file: 0
Parsed lines in file: 4696
 Found 0 dropped records,
 Found 0 corrupted records,
 Found 4597 old records,
 Found 99 new qualified records.
But my awstats does not reflect the new records in the above output.

Im not really sure what I did wrong and if anyone has any tips to steer me in the right direction i would really appreciate it.

thanks in advance.
