Are you wanting something like TripWire running on Linux to monitor the AD domain?

Are you looking to have all logins to the Linux machine integrated with AD? If so products like Likewise and Centrify will help. What logon event should create an alert, anybody logging into any machine in AD or just the one Linux machine?
