Instance of programs

I have installed a Debian lenny box as PDC

In my office it is proposed to buy some engineering design softwares which are costly

Can I install these softwares on a Windows PC and let all users to run the instance of the same program via samba domain?

That is one program (eg. CAD software can be run by more than one user at the same time from different PCs)

Wouldn't this be attempting to defeat the commercial software's licence and therefore be piracy?

Is what possible?

Once again, the answer is in the license. Typical OpenSource SW does not restrict how many instances you can install, but I suppose there could be exceptions.

It needs some clarification regarding instance

Only one installtion - running several instances. ie. like a web browser. Though only one installation, we can run multiple instances of the web browser. But the question is is it possible to run the instances on remote systems?
