more than one instance of j2re

Does anyone know why I am unable to use more than one instance of the j2re, For instance, I cannot run limewire and use mozilla with the j2re plugin at the same time. It's a major annoyance.

It is unheard of (at least to me)

Do you think it could be application specific? e.g. it is actually a limewire issue masked as a j2re instance issue?

-> suggestion 1:

change the command line that starts limewire by adding "-verbose" to the java command options to see if there is any interesting error message
