Installed "ipkungfu" firewall onto Headless Server and am unable to ssh into it!
So I remotely ssh'd into port 22 of my headless ubuntu Acer Home Server machine and installed this "ipkungfu" firewall, which apparently blocks all ports by default (this I did not know). I was disconnected and now my printer port "631" is still accessible, but my ssh port "22" and http "80" seemed to be blocked both remotely and when trying to access them internally too.
I am wondering how on earth am I going to be able to ssh into my headless server if the ssh port is now being blocked? Since I cannot hook up a monitor to it, am I screwed?
Is there another method, cannot i sneak into it somehow using the printer port that is still open "631"?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Your not going to be able to fix it remotely.
If you can't hook up a monitor, then I suggest pulling the hard drive, mounting it on another Linux computer, editing the firewall configuration to allow SSH connections, and reattach the drive.

Thanks for the fast response! Yeah unfortunately I am currently remote but can vpn to my windows machine on the home network and have tried to ssh locally (which also doesn't work). I just read somewhere that the firewall might have to be manually started every time the server reboots. If this is the case, when I get home all I need to do is manually reboot the machine to disable the firewall.
But yes, if all else fails, that is a solid plan... I will just un-dock that hard drive from the headless server and alter the firewall settings manually.
Thanks again!

I haven't updated in a while since I'm no longer supporting ipkungfu (unless somebody finds a serious bug.) ...

Website doesn't look promising, I'd move on to something that's currently supported especially since we're talking about a firewall.
