we run a server at Strato with Ubuntu 18.04. By default, Php 7 is already here, but we needs php 5.
We have already carried out various tests / experiments / instructions on how to install and activate php 5 additionally. When reading in, for example, Putty we also get php 5 back, but the website reports Php 7 (ie the original). In Plesk also Php 7 is still displayed, php 5 is also not selectable, probably because it is not supported officially.
What possibilities do we have? If someone agrees to look at the whole thing, we are of course willing to compensate those for it. Short about us, we run a browser game and forced cause of a server crash to change the System.
@dc.901 Yes also we have also tried it, but it doesnt help. Thank you for your comcompliance.
@scasey Yes both wie did. Also the Strato support coldnt help us.
At the End we decided to merge the Server to php-7 and change the whole Server.
