hi made the /var/cvs access and modify by all users

chown root:subashm/var/cvs/CVSROOT
chown root:antony /var/cvs/CVSROOT

i changed the ownership of the file to root, antony, subash
[root@localhost ~]# ssh root@1xx.xx.xx.xx
root@xx.xx.xx.xx.'s password:
Last login: Tue Oct 25 13:45:37 2011 from 10.200.1.53
[root@feari ~]# cd /var/cvs/
[root@feari cvs]# ls
CVSROOT ind
[root@feari cvs]# cd
[root@feari ~]# su - subashm
-sh-3.2$ cd /var/cvs/
-sh-3.2$ ls
CVSROOT ind
-sh-3.2$ vi ind
-sh-3.2$ su - root
Password:
[root@feari ~]# su - antony
-sh-3.2$ cd /var/cvs/
-sh-3.2$ ls
CVSROOT ind
-sh-3.2$ vi ind
-sh-3.2$ rm -rf ind
-sh-3.2$

Again, you really need to read the documentation on CVS, and learn what it does, and how it does it. If you just edit a file with vi, of course it'll change it for all. That's what CVS is for...to check out a copy of whatever to your local workstation, and let you work on it, and then CHECK IT BACK IN. All you're doing is basic linux commands.

Re-read post #4...UNDERSTAND what you were told. We've answered your question multiple times, but you don't seem to understand the answer.
