I am an Oracle DBA and trying to install Oracle RAC (1 nodes cluster) on Oracle Linux 7. For network configuration, I am facing some difficulties and need expert opinion to resolve the problems.
1)
If I run traceroute command from node1 (192.231.231.40) to node2 (192.231.231.41), output is as follows

[root@salman1 ~]# traceroute 192.231.231.41
traceroute to 192.231.231.41 (192.231.231.41), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets
1 salman2.salman.com (192.231.231.41) 8.076 ms !X 7.447 ms !X 7.325 ms !X

!X in the output seems some restrictions in accessing the other node. Please help how to fix this issue.

How to enable multicast on subnet range 224.0.0.0/24

Please see uploaded outputs of my ifconfig command.
