I am getting kernel panic error again and again on CentOS-5.8 (64-bit) virtual machine. It is hosted on Windows Server 2012 with Data Center edition. Kindly find the details.
Hyper V OS:- Windows Server 2012 with Data Center edition
Guest OS:- CentOS-5.8 (64-Bit).
Linux Integration Service:- 3.4.
Kernel Version:- 2.6.18-348.1.1.el5.
I have re created the initrd image and load all the Hyper V drivers/modules before SCSI module.
Please check the error screen shot and give me advice to resolve this issue.
Did you install 'xen' or 'KVM' before VB?
Was it working before successfully and you are getting this error recently?
If yes:
Can you find 'xen' packages there.
Try
Check your .vdi hard disc is connected to SATA controller or IDE controller?
Remove from the sata controller in settings and connect to ide controller and now reboot.
