function.readfile

Two systems, one localhost, the other server, on same network

localhost Ubuntu 9.10 Apache/2.2.12 MySql sites running OK

Server Ubuntu 6.06.2 LTS Apache/2.0.55 (Ubuntu) PHP/5.1.2 mod_ssl/2.0.55 OpenSSL/0.9.8a sites running OK

I've tried IP address, paths, http noting is working, Gallery works thou http://gallery.rockinghamgateway.com/

why is my local box reading file and my live is not, there must be some thing we have missed

I don't understand what your question is.

You're comparing apples to oranges as far as servers go, but you didn't really ask a question.
