Fibre channel HBA and port question

Hi,

This might be a simple question to others but it really bothers me as my understanding on these server technologies is quite clouded these days.

Code:
server:~ # lspci -nn | grep "Fibre Channel"
05:00.0 Fibre Channel [0c04]: QLogic Corp. ISP2532-based 8Gb Fibre Channel to PCI Express HBA [1077:2532] (rev 02)
05:00.1 Fibre Channel [0c04]: QLogic Corp. ISP2532-based 8Gb Fibre Channel to PCI Express HBA [1077:2532] (rev 02)
server:~ #
What does the above output mean? Does it mean:
1. I have 1 adapter with 2 physical ports; or
2. I have 2 adapters?

If 2, how do I determine the number of physical ports per adapter? Or is it always 2 ports per adapter?

Followup questions later.

Some details:
Code:
server:~ # uname -a
Linux server 3.0.101-68-default #1 SMP Tue Dec 1 16:21:37 UTC 2015 (ed01a9f) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
server:~ # ls -l /etc/*release
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 69 Jun 19 2015 /etc/SuSE-release
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7 Nov 5 2015 /etc/eds-release
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 110 May 6 2010 /etc/lsb-release
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 156 Jun 19 2015 /etc/os-release
server:~ # cat /etc/SuSE-release
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (x86_64)
VERSION = 11
PATCHLEVEL = 4
server:~ #
Thank you!

I read on lspci manpage but not being well-versed with PCI, I really can't figure things out.

[It's a mistake adding a comment to my post because it is no longer in the Zero Reply Threads. Since I can no longer delete this comment, adding more details.]

The server is a "HPE ProLiant BL465c Gen8 Server Blade". Before engaging an on site personnel, I just want to check what's installed on the server via the OS. Anyway, here are the details from the documentation which might help.

Code:
Expansion Slots

Two (2) I/O expansion mezzanine slots:
• x8 PCIe 2.0 Type A (supports Type A mezzanine cards) (expansion slot 1).
NOTE: This expansion slot supports dual-port mezzanine cards: one port is routed to interconnect module bay 3 and the other to bay 4.
• x16 PCIe 2.0 Type B (supports Type A and Type B mezzanine cards (expansion slot 2).
NOTE: This expansion slot supports dual-port and quad-port mezzanine cards. For dual-port cards, one port is routed to interconnect module bay 5 and the other to bay 6. For quad-port cards, one port is routed to interconnect module bay 5, one to bay 6, one to bay 7, and one to bay 8.

Mezzanine card options include:
• Dual-port 10Gb FlexFabric, 20Gb FlexFabric,10Gb Flex-10, 10Gb Ethernet options, and quad-port 1Gb Ethernet server adapter mezzanine options for additional network ports
• Dual-port 8Gb and 16Gb Fibre Channel HBA for SAN connectivity
• QDR and FDR InfiniBand for low latency and high bandwidth server interconnectivity
• I/O accelerator mezzanine options for high transaction rate local storage
• Smart Array SAS RAID controller mezzanine options for external direct attach and shared SAS storage

...

Storage
• Two (2) Small Form Factor hot-plug SAS/SATA/SSD drive bays.
• Integrated HPE Smart Array P220i Controller with 512MB FBWC, RAID 0 and 1 support, and upgradeable firmware with recovery ROM capability.
• Optional HPE D2200sb or D2220sb Storage Blade for direct attached and shared storage within the c-Class enclosure.
• Optional dual-port Fibre Channel mezzanine cards for redundant SAN connections.

...

Fibre Channel Support
Up to two (2) optional Fibre Channel mezzanine HBAs are supported on the HPE ProLiant BL465c Gen8.
If my understanding is correct, there could be 2 HBA cards, hence up to 4 ports physically.

Follow up question to follow.

Looks like one card two ports. Based on the information that you have posted.
