Error: Could not connect to the Server.

I have implimented SugarCRM on a SUSE 10 box . Every thing goes ok but in the SugarCRM ,it's saying :
Quote:
Error: Could not connect to the Sugar Server. Please check your Proxy Settings value in the System Settings admin panel. Last attempted connection @ 10/11/2010 06:37pm
and unable to setup email inside that.
But the system is neither have proxy setting and internet runs fine outside SugarCRM. IN RHEL,CentOS all run ok but not in SUSE ?

I found this on the SugarCRM support website:

Users unable to set password, create or modify records after Proxy Settings value error

Symptom

The following error appears after logging into the SugarCRM instance:

Error: Could not connect to the Sugar Server. Please check your Proxy Settings value in the System Settings admin panel. Last attempted connection @ yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm

After encountering the above error message, users are unable to reset passwords, create or modify records.

Origin

Known issue. The Sugar application was unable to validate licensing due to an internet connection failure.

Solution

Confirm that the Proxy Settigns value in Admin > System Settings is correct. To re-validate the license, go to the Admin panel > License Manager > Re-validate.

I also found someone with this same issue who reported it worked correctly after rebooting the client.

Thanks for searching for me,but I already checked this page and there is no issue with proxy. While the same runs fine with RHEL or centOS ,why not in Suse ? Why proxy error in SUSE ,while all configuration are same.

I am not running behind proxy, all machines are directly connected to router and no proxy is required to get connected to outside.

Do you have SE Linux enabled? Firewall on the box? IPTables?

And since you already checked the page, you must have noticed this one:
http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/support/...es_6.0_GA.html

Which doesn't mention SUSE being one of the supported options. Also, if you're using the commercial SugarCRM, why don't you contact them for support? They even provide data-migration services, which you seem to need.
