VHCS: ERROR: Unable to connect SQL server !

Hi guys,
I am running Fedora Core 3 and am having trouble getting VHCS2 ( http;//vhcs.net ) up and running I am finally to the point where I type ./setup I enter the details and it I get the error ERROR: Unable to connect SQL server ! I know I entered the right details and that the MySQL server is up and running, I googled this and saw it was a common issue but could not find any solutions too it.

Any help would be awesome,
