Hey all,
Implementing Dell OpenManage Server Administrator on RHEL4. I am getting a critical warning, that my HardWare log (ESM log), is full.
I have searched and searched my system for this log, and Im not sure what it is?
Can someone help me to find and clear my ESM log.
THanks.
Josh

Hello,
Have you tried entering Dell's BIOS in your system?
Better late than never right? I was having the same issue and used my google-fu to try come up with a solution. I came across this thread with no solution and continued on my way else where. I found how to clear the hardware log through CLI with root access. I thought I would post it here in case someone else comes across this thread with the same issue...
Run the following:
omconfig system esmlog action=clear
omconfig can be found in /opt/dell/srvadmin/sbin/
So once signed in, just do the following and then you're done!
# /opt/dell/srvadmin/sbin/omconfig system esmlog action=clear
