Courier IMAP Auth question

Hey everyone,

I have my Exim email server working with courier using authpam so any Linux system account can get email.

I am trying to get authmysql used as well but Im having a few issues.

My first question is is it possible to use both auth methods at the same time?

Secondly is it possible to use aliases when using mysql auth?

Hi,

1. It's possible to have as many auth methods as you want. Just put their names in next to "authmodulelist=" in authdaemonrc. The order is important as if the 1st auth method fails, then the 2nd is used and so on.
2. I haven't used authmysql, but I guess you can use aliases if you have them defined in the appropriate table.
